California Central Model Railroad Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The California Central Railroad is a free lanced California based mainline railroad placed “somewhere in the West” with the SF Bay Area, Northern and Southern California, the Pacific Northwest, and Arizona\/Utah all represented “Seamlessly” The 400 foot mainline includes five towns in a folded dog bone with two reverse loops that also provide staging. There is also a dual gauge branch line; however, narrow gauge operations are infrequent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scenically, the railroad is 95% complete. It is set in the 1950s, and and locations are inspired by real locations from the California coast and SF Bay Area to Southern Oregon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The layout is housed in the historic Agnes Depot built for the Narrow Gauge South Pacific Coast Railroad in 1877. The SPC was later acquired by the SP, and the depot is right on the active mainline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
